Best Buy offering $100 off Nexus 9 for trading in tablet

Best Buy has a neat deal going on for those interested in purchasing a Nexus 9. They are offering a minimum of $100 in savings for those who trade in “any working tablet.” This would come in the form of a $50 gift card and a $50 coupon to go towards a Nexus 9, specifically.

Does this mean you can take any crappy old tablet in? Well, Best Buy is a bit vague about which tablets apply. And it seems there are some restrictions. Barnes & Noble tablets and eReaders are excluded, for example.

Your best bet would be to go ask an employee about this deal and see if they take your specific device. It does have to turn on and have no screen cracks or water damage, though.

Opinion: The Nexus 9 is not a bad tablet at all. In fact, we think it’s awesome. I wouldn’t mind trading one of my old tablets for a good discount on it. I jsut might go check later.
